What type of bedding is provided in overnight marae stay?
Each guest will receive their own individual moenga (mattress) pillow, fresh linen, and towel for their comfort. Alternatively, you are also welcome to bring your own linen and towels.
I am traveling by campervan. Is there parking available?
Our Marae has ample free parking for cars, campervans and motorhomes.
Do I need a drive to the activities included in the daytime or overnight experience?
No, you don’t. Once you arrive our Marae, all activities and tours are possible by foot and in comfortable walking distance from our meeting grounds.
I have food allergies – do you have vegan, gluten-free or dairy-free options?
Please advise us upon booking if you have any special dietary requirements and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Are children welcome to Hinerupe Marae?
Yes, absolutely. Both our daytime and overnight experiences are open to children. However, there is a minimum age requirement for our overnight stay is 8 years old. Our facilities also include changing tables for children.
Do you take corporate or group bookings?
Yes, we do. our Marae can cater up to 200 people with ample parking, catering facilities and accommodation options on-site. For Overnight Mare Stays, we can accommodate up to 100 people in a group.
Are tents and campervans allowed?
Yes. our Marae has provisional space for tents and campervans but please inform us of this at the time of your booking.
